Subatomic Recording Studio, Sydney has a great range of software-based instruments and real instruments to create music of all styles. Whether you are a loops-based composer or require real musicians, anything is possible. When it comes to drums, while we don't have a drum room (we are a boutique production studio!), we can arrange drums to be recorded elsewhere, then return to our intimate environment to record all the other instruments. You can bring in your own turntables, saxophone, guitars – whatever you need – and with our gear, we will produce beautiful music.

We have a compliment of classic retro keyboards, including a Roland Jupiter 8 (JP8), Yamaha DX7, Yamaha CS20M, Korg Poly 800, Kurzweil Pro76 (K1000) and a fabulous new Yamaha P250 digital piano, packed with awesome piano sounds and a huge range of other XG MIDI sounds as well.

We run Native Instruments Komplete and a range of other plug-in software instruments with Apple’s Logic Pro. Of course, you might have your own samples, loops and instruments, which we are happy for you to work with.

Whether it is a musical idea you want to create, a video or film sound track, instrumental tune, YouTube track, documentary music, etc., or whether you create rock, techno, classical, pop or avant garde compositions, Subatomic Studio is a great place to lay down your ideas and turn them into reality.
